Skye Hotel Blackpool

When my colleague had booked this hotel for our business trip to Blackpool I was a bit worried by the description: "gay friendly with nightly bingo". I need not have worried. The Skye Hotel is a really friendly place (also to non-gays) and throughout our stay there was not a bingo in sight.

For what it is (a small, pub hotel in a city which is a prime location for stag parties) it is a very good place to stay and good value for money.
The rooms are reasonably clean with ok beds and a small, yet complete bathroom. The rooms come with TV, coffe & tea making facilities and free wi-fi Internet.

Full English breakfast is included in the room price, and the hotel offers other amenities like laundry service, free wi-fi internet, a children's room, a sun lounge and a large pub with dance floor.

The hotel is perfectly situated next to the south entrance of Blackpool Pleasure Beach, and overlooks the boulevard and Irish sea.
