I really love the Siroco bar on the roof of the State building. The view was amazing and although the drinks were very pricey (almost equal to San Francisco) it was worth checking out. The rooftop bar at the Banyan Tree hotel was also lovely.

The sun is high at the sky by now and all the statues and walls and buildings are reflecting the warm light on their golden surface. Highly recommended - especially the sky train) The sky train is really cool. Its a new El line (read: elevated trains that run above traffic...think the El in Chicago or the Skytram to JFK) that runs through the central districts of Bangkok… End-of-trip-denial |
