If you want a different experience, Skjerven gård is a great place in
Maridalen. They have horses, sheep's, chicken, rabbits etc. You can do horseback riding and they have horse drawn carriages here. You don't come here just for the animals, but the landscape is so idyllic. Lots of people bike to this place and even walk to this place. You should not believe that this place is in a city. It feels like you are far out on the country side. I think it is open to the public couple times a week, but you should make a phone call before you go there. I know there are some trails leading to this place, but I'm not sure from where, but will check it out some day. |
