Sjøboden is something truly special in Bergen. Once you enters the pub it feels like you are at a random bar in a small Norwegian town. Its not surprising that most people there are from small towns around Bergen. The atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming, sjøboden should be included if you are visiting Bergen, both for Cultural reasons and nightlife entertainment .

If you pay sjøboden a visit saturday night , be prepared for more than 150 drunk people singing along to great Norwegian and International classics.

They are also the only place in Bergen that has LIVE entertainment every night from 23:00 to 03:00.

Not to forget that Sjøboden is also one of the oldest bars in Bergen, probably as old as Bryggen itself. And that they've got live music six days a week.
