Six Flags Over Mid-America Saint Louis Reviews
Six Flags, St. Louis....One of Several Six Flags Parks Jul 12, 2008
Six Flags over Mid-America, near St. Louis, is one of the longer-running parks of this name that opened up in the early 70s. It has been about three years since I've been here, and the two newest rides, Evel Knievel and Tony Hawk's Big Spin, were not here the last time I visited.
The rides I can report on are Batman: The Ride, Mr. Freeze, Ninja, and the Screamin' Eagle. The screamin' Eagle has been around awhile, and though it held the Guiness Book of World records at one time, it has been surpassed by many other coasters.
Mr. Freeze is probably my favorite...another coaster that does the reverse ride and does 0 to 70 in about 4 seconds.
The Ninja isn't bad. It does a lot of turns, twists, and corkscrews.
The Batman ride is an inverted coaster, not the best, though...
Overall, the coasters are about average here...though I reserve judgement until I ride the newest coasters that have been added since I was here last.
Prices are around 35USD for one day.
