Six Flag's Great America Reviews
fun for kids and grown ups, or grown ups that act like kids. Sep 01, 2008
i used to go here all the time when i was a kid. i'd go with my sister, barely fit over the height limit, and run around riding coasters all day. getting super sunburnt. well, before i left the country, i went again. IT WAS AWESOME. so awesome that i went the week later. again. with friends. again, awesome. this place does not disappoint.
for 30 bucks you can get a daily admission pass. totally worth it. the first thing you'll want to ride are the bumper cars to your left. "rue le dodge". there's normally a good mix of age ranges, which makes it a lot of fun finding the little kids to bump the crap out of their cars. see them flying. BUAHAHA!! hey man, the big kids did it to us when we were little, we're only keeping tradition alive. after bumper cars, you'll hit the cable cars. they're like, air gondolas. you can take them to the other side of the park towards all the water rides and such, or you can bypass and go on TOP GUN, a massive coaster. man, this one is awesome. i say that this one is a close tie for first. YOU JUST HAVE TO GO. if you're in the bay area, you've gotta stop by here. there are so many roller coasters, so many water rides; you can easilly spend a whole day here. on friday nights they have a fireworks show. YOU CAN EVEN BUNGEE JUMP HERE. there's a tandem bungee flying thing. it's 15 bucks extra, but i think it's worth it. especially since regular bungee jumping requires a trip to a bridge somewhere, gear, release forms up the wazoo and guides. oh, and like 70 dollars more. psh, c'mon!! THEY EVEN SELL BEER. mind you, they're like, 9 bucks a pop. there are water rides, water slides, roller coasters, bumper cars, carousels, arcade games [where you can win big huge stuffed animals], EVERYTHING AND MORE. you'll have a ton of fun. i know, this review isn't all that fabulous. i'm having a conversation about eggplant aloud. in french. this is confusing. JUST GO. you'll love it. sayonara!! and desole. this reveiw was all scatterey. |

Christmas/bday at home. As always, a slight letdown, but I've
come to expect it. Spent a lot of time with the parents and a
good family friend. While not too exciting, it was nice to relax
and enjoy my bed at home for a few days.… Christmas in my own home |

Well it was quite an experience, the airport is such a mess, but has free wi-fi, not like that s%$#@ of IAH (Houston), it look like a war zone, but the model they have for what's going to be the SJO airport looks awesome, they're just a couple month…… Arriving at San Jose California |
