Great Seafood in surprising area Mar 29, 2009
A friend invited me to meet her at "Six Feet Under" and it was wonderful! Food is a little pricey but the experience was worth it. The restaurant is set in a rustic, feel-like-you're-at-the-sea setting with a wood-paneled inside and comfortable booths. During warm weather, there is also a rooftop patio which looks out over the city.
The Cuisine: ranges from New Orleans styled Gumbo soup (very good) to typical (but hard to fiind) southern fried green tomatoes and grits. The seafood and other side items are excellent. Surprise: Six Feet Under is also doing their best to "go green" and be eco-friendly: they added a windmill to reduce the amount of greenhouse gas electricity that they use. |
