Raters say Sintra is a 3-star hotel. Our tour guide says it used to be a 5-star hotel many years back, but it's down to about 4 now...

I don't really mind the 'star' quality of the hotel I'd be staying in, but detailed ratings as indicated in this review matter to me big time, especially the location and cleanliness part (covers both the bathroom and the room itself...

If you're coming to Macau and you don't have all the money to spend for the 5 star and up hotels, yet you want a decent enough place to stay in where everywhere you want to go is just a 5 minute walk, a bus ride out of the hotel door, or the 2 put together plus a ferry ride....

To get to Senado Square, it's only 5 minutes walk...

To get to Grand Lisboa and the casino strip, just keep your eyes in the direction of the great lights... it could also be just 5 minute walk or even less....

To get to the ferry terminal, it's just a bus ride...you can head off from the hotel...

It's easy, no need to complicate... It's a good way to keep some of your bucks to shop or gamble your way around the place...
