Singita Pamushana Lodge
Singita Pamushana Lodge Reviews
Safari Luxury Lodge Nov 26, 2008
While in Vilankulo Mozambique we took a weekend break and traveled to Zimbabwe for a safari. We ended up staying at the Singita Pamushana Lodge, which is in the Malilangwe Reserve. Set amidst 105,000 acres of pristine African bush, teaming with awesome wildlife, the Singita Pamushana is the most understatedly luxurious lodge on the African continent. They have 6 villas that are spacious to the extreme and furnished with exotic works of art. Walls of sliding glass lead out from your villa onto a game viewing and leisure deck with swimming pool and telescope through which to spot the BIG FIVE!
The main lodge area offers an indoor dining room, open dining room, teak-deck dining areas, a full service bar, library, open air lounge, wine cellar, two heated swimming pools and a Jacuzzi. The rooms have air conditioning, high-speed internet, and satellite TV.
Although we did get a special price through our connections with UNICEF, the rates here are quite expensive. This would be an once-in-a-lifetime vacation unless you make a hefty six-figure income, but the service is impeccable…your wish is their command.
The restaurant provides unbelievable food and you can have it on the dining terrace or in the garden area. They also have room service if you’re so inclined to stay in bed. Other activities that are available include tennis courts, mountain biking, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, and safaris.
