Our breakfast this morning was the usual fare, but in a very unusual place.   We took a boat from our hotel out on the Bali Sea right after sunrise for a nice cruise and some breakfast.  The Sea was quite calm and it was a great way to start the day.  The boat is operated by the hotel.  It has outriggers on both sides, and runs on a diesel engine.  Our breakfast just tasted better out on the boat!  We saw lot of fishing boats out that morning -- lots of folk...

The road from Ubud to Singaradja contains beautifull views over ricepaddies! nice for taking pictures! Lovina beach is nice to see but since tourists avoid bali, this place is very deserted... well.... unless we start to visit this beautifull region again!

I went to Bali in 2005! We had a stopover in Kuala Lumpur and then we had our flight to Denpasar. To our 5-star hotel in Sanur named the Bali Hyatt. A very fantastic hotel! Sanur is not such a touristic town as Kuta! Next stop for us was Ubud, the most artistic place on Bali. Also very nice. Then we went to the vulcans on the middle of the island (Kintamani and Kedisan). Singaraja and Lovina to spot some dolphines, then back to Sanur for some days to relax on the beach!
