Ok, here goes-all the way to London and then Europe here I come! I don't speak a word of German or Spanish but my Italian is cosi cosi and my French? I'll get by somehow...

I took a teaching job in Singapore for a short 3 months and then went back to the states. Here are some pictures of my husband and I there. It is a beautiful place.

I decided to head to Borneo to climb the tallest mountain in SE Asia and check out the jungles. SO I travelled to Singapore, Johor Baru, Kota Kinabalu, Sepilok and Sandakan. Borneo is an awesome island with plenty to do and some amazing nature. It's just a shame its so polluted.

Our second trip to Lebanon and Syria, this time continuing south to Jordan and Egypt. Travelling with us were Kim's parents.

I just love to roam: the streets, meet strange people, try their local foods and delicious goodies, taste and see if their cultures have similarities or so different (that I laugh at myself being a wandering wonder) that to them I am an "alien” from another world. I have yet see another human whose blood is blue and whose food is purely veggie, whose playmates are gorillas and monkeys. I say we are the same genie having ups & downs just as when faced with sadness and happiness..

A trip to furnish our newly-acquired apartment in Kuching, followed by a few days of luxury at the Empire Hotel in Brunei.

My second trip to Iran, picking up the (even) less touristed places ... from the holy city of Mashad near Turkmenistan, to the maze of narrow alleys in mud-brick city of Yazd, to the Caspian Sea area.
