Singapore is very interesting as I hadn't expected to see so many culures coexist with each other. There were many chinese, malays and indians all about..the food is wonderful! Mostly everyone speaks english (sometimes when you travel, learning the language is a big concern for me)the prices are a bit more western IMO, and overall one of the cleanest and safest countries I've visited. If you like nightlife and restos, visit Clarke Quay..many to choose from. I visited the Singapore zoo and did the Night safari (high recommended)...I also enjoyed the many hawker stalls, touring Sentosa Island and relaxing for the day.

Today we went to Sentosa Island. Sentosa Island is a small island right at the bottom of Singapore. You can get there via a bridge, boat, or cable car. The cable cars leave from the top of Mt. Faber on Singapore proper, which is best reached… Sentosa Island and back to Chinatown |

Our visit to Sentosa Island was more of a token one. My dad and I had visited four years ago and spent a day there. Several things have changed about the island, mainly more attractions to make money, like the Carlsberg Skytower and a 4-Dimensional movie… Sentosa Island & Singapore Zoo |

Sentosa Island We took a taxi to get to the Mount Faber, the cable car station on the mainland. The ride on the cable car offers nice views, but if you're used to go on cable cars when you're going skiing… Singapore - Day 3 |

We checked out for a little bit and went up to get a ticket to sentosa island. There are few options to go to Sentosa but this time, I picked sky train, ' Sentosa Express'. Here we go!!!! Saw a big and no water from mouth merlion first. Took a pick just like everbody else were doing :) And then… Sentosa Island |

Singapore Information
I took a trip over to Sentosa Island by the Cable car where you can view Singapore city and the cruise ship terminal while gliding over the top of the harbour.
Once at Sentosa island I rode the train around the island and stopped off at the beach and visited the Merlion… Singapore 2001 |
