Silverthorne Overview

Silverthorne is the place to start and end a ski weekend in the winter or a nice hike in the summer. The city sits right on I-70 past the Eisenhower tunnel. It has beautiful views of Summit County where Lake Dillon sits. It is a clean town of about 24 thousand people who have in some connection with skiing or the reservoir.

When you stop at the outlets, you will notice a lot of people out fly fishing in the cold water of the blue river. This is a very popular sporting activity for this city.
