Silver Moon Guesthouse – Bagan, Myanmar

The Silver Moon Guesthouse in New Bagan is a very nice,
friendly place down a small dirt road off of the main road running through New
Bagan.  Rooms are clean and comfy with
the coldest air conditioning in Myanmar,
televisions and clean bathrooms.  The rooms
are set in a small courtyard setting and the staff are all very friendly.  For some reason, every night, zillions of
cute little frogs congregate out in front of the lobby (perhaps due to the
glaring fluorescent lights that attract tasty bugs?) and provide evening
entertainment.  Breakfast is included and
pretty good (although there is always someone there trying to sell you
paintings).  Rooms are reasonable at
about $15/night.
