Silver Bay Vacation Guide
Silver Bay is a small town on the north shore of Lake Superior originally founded as a home for employees of the Northshore Mining iron mine. You can watch ore ships getting loaded at the mine or enjoy one of the many neighboring state parks. Tettegouche State Park, Split Rock Lighthouse, the Superior Hiking Trail, and Palisade Head offer plenty to see and do in the area.
