I went to Vancouver, Canada after a cruise to Alaska... I loved it. Tha architecture was unbelieveable. You do not have to worry about going without coffee shops or places to shop. Everything was in walking distance!

We immediately spotted the sea otters and it was love at first sight! They were utterly adorable, two were having a whale of a time ducking and bobbing through the water, showing off their acrobatic skills to everyone while a third, slightly tubbier otter was content to sunbathe on a rock and enjoy the attention. The weather was perfect, the bears were a sight to behold, dinner was great, and then the ride back down the moutain was awesome riding in those cable cars...it was a fine day!!!! So come with me to see this great place. I have much to tell about Grouse Mountain...the Twin… Grouse Mountain...and Grinder and Coola the rescue bears |

We drove over the Granville Street bridge towards Downtown where I was being dropped off and saw that Vancouver sight that made me so excited to be home. Mountains! I love how in Vancouver, wherever you look, you'll see mountains in the background. I love the mountains in contrast to the downtown high rises, the beaches and the ocean. It was good to be home… Familiar territory |

In March of last year she came out here and stayed a week with us so we decided to go to Vancouver and show her the touristy sights. There was about 9 of us so we were like a big mob. We did all of the same stuff as the last two Vancouver trips. But this time we went to Canada Place as well. We always feel dumb getting people to take… Vancouver with my Japanese friend |

We were
excited/purtubed by the sign which warned of black bear sightings in
the area, and amused by the giant signs detailing (with pictures and
specific examples) the various ways in which you could die if you
didn't behave in a responsible manner. The walk was gorgeous, the sun
was shining and streaming through the trees… So many photos..... |
