Dec 18, 2006 Hi! I am very sorry in the delay for replying to your question. That's wonderful you are going to Barcelona! I wish you a wonderful journey! Buen viaje! (Have a good trip!) I recommend visiting La Sagrada Familia, which is a beautiful cathedral in construction. The architecture is amazing. Las Ramblas is a popular shopping district and the beach, Barceloneta is beautiful! I also recommend Parc Guell, which contains some of Antonio Gaudi's, a famous architect, beautiful buildings. U could get on the bus at Plaza de Catalunya and it would drive passed all the interesting sights in the city. There was a stop at every sight so u could get off the bus if u wanted to take a close look. After that u could get on the bus again whenever u wanted and travel to the next sight. There was also a model made from tiny weights and strings, hanging upside down from the roof, a truly ingenious sight. After climbing a flight of stairs, I emerged on the rooftop. This is one of the best sights in Barcelona. The entire roof is filled with whimsical chimneys, some looking like soldiers, some just surreal. You could also see the two gigantic atriums. After an ice cream and a light snack for lunch, and some sights around the Pl.de la Carbonera, we came across a famous shopping street, Las Ramblas. I was warned about this street in advanced, where a lot of people get pick pocketed by locals. My friends who have travelled here before have had there money… Barcelona |

I didnt cover much of the sights and my legs were so tired of walking so i decided i wil join a bus tour the following day. Indeed it was a smart choice. It may cost a bit but still a smart way to see all the sights. I was never… Spanish break |
