Hole in the wall joint with huge, yummy portions Apr 15, 2008
My fiance and I met some friends and my cousin at the local hole in the wall joint. Although the decor screams out, "Dive Diner", the food was superb. Side Street Inn is well-known by the locals, including upscale hotel chefs who frequent the restaurant after a long day at work. The prices are average, but the portions more than make up for the price as each dish easily feeds 2-3 people. The food is served family style so that everyone can enjoy parts of each dish. Side Street Inn also features a couple of good beers on tap, as well as some bottled favorites. If you enjoy good food in huge portions, most of them fried, then this is definitely the place for you!
