Siboney es una región al este de Santiago de Cuba; hay una playa del mismo nombre que es muy agradable aunque la arena no es muy fina, la vegetación es abundante y el clima es excelente. Hay un parque temático (dinosaurios)para los niños y una casa que utilizaron los combatientes del cuartel Moncada para perpetrar el asalto a dicho cuartel en 1953.
Yo fui en motocicleta y es fácil llegar; la carretera esta en condiciones aceptables.

Granjita de Siboney

Mexico City, Mexico -› Havana, Cuba -› ...

Pasamos a visitar la Granjita de Siboney que es una casa que los moncadistas disfrazron de granja aves de corral y donde organizaron la operación de tomar el Cuartel Moncada. En un pozo escondieron las armas y hoy es museo esta granja. Hay fotografías, ropa, y los muebles de ese tiempo. Recortes perodísticos del asalto al cuartel; cinco días antes había estado ahí el presidente de Venezuela Hugo Chávez acompañado por Raúl Castro presidente de Cuba. Luego fuímos a la playa Siboney.....
