Siag Pyramids Hotel, Moritia. May 02, 2011
You don't wanna stay here. The last time I went to see it (during the Revolution) it looked totally run down and derelect. Or, it could have been completely trashed by looters. Not really sure.

Regards

Lucy

Just for 1 night Jun 06, 2010
Because we spent 1 night in Cairo, and did not pay very much for the hotel. Therefore you can not complain. Indeed, the hotel is not very clean. The bedlinnen has holes in it. The hotel is very very dusty, but i can understand why that happens. You need a lot of staff to clean the hotel. And in the low season it is too expensive. The view from the hotel towards the pyramids is nice. But i did not like to stand on the balcony. The staff in the hotel was helpfull and they made specially for us a nice dinner, because that was included in the prize. They brought it to our room because we were too tired. The breakfast was good enough. Nothing special, but you do not to get hungry. The bread was fresh. I would not recommend this hotel for more than one night. It is officially a 4 star hotel, but i would say it is not more than 2. In the bedroom we had a tv which is a very old one. It did not work very well. The fridge was ok, and so was the shower. But it is very old. In fact the whole hotel is very old. It must have had better days. And if you are a tourist, you always have to take a taxi to go somewhere, because the location is not nice.
