Day 21 - Show Low

This was by far the most beautiful ride on the trip. The day started with a lot of climbing to the top of the Salt River Canyon, the view at the top was something I have never seen before. You could see for miles around, a river ran through the middle of the huge gorges which were properly named the mini grand canyon. The ride down was tremendously great, a 7 mile downhill stretch, when we hit bottom we realized that we had to climb back out of the canyon. With a huge task before us we climbe...

Hiking in the White Mountains

White Mountain Panorama Trail

http://www.wmonline.com/attract/trails/635.htm This link says the hike was 8 miles.  The other map I printed out and can't find a link for now says that it's 10 miles.  My GPS which I am not entirely impressed with, although it does keep track of my car when I'm hiking, said that it was about 6.5 miles.  So I'm going with the map I took with me, and telling everybody that I hiked 10 miles yesterday.. lol.
