Shorewood Golf Course - UWGB Green Bay Reviews
Shorewood 9 hole golf course at University Wisconsin Green Bay May 11, 2009
Adjacent to the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, this 9 hole course is hilly, challenging yet forgiving to new golfers.
This sprawling and secluded course rarely requires reservation if you are willing to wait for a max of 30 minutes.
Inexpensive and casual, this course does not require golf shoes to be worn on it. Though the first tee box is right in front of the clubhouse windows, in full view of the patrons, it is a fun and non-intimidating course to play. Hole 2 is the most challenging hole as the green is up a steep hill with a forest behind it, a stream in front of it, geese resting on the fairway, and tall rough all the way around it.
The entire course is very mature with huge, beautiful hardwood trees bordering every hole.
Coupons can be found in the Green Bay/Appleton Entertainment Book for buy-one-get-one.
Green Fees with cart are around $22, but a foursome special w/ cart is about $60.00.
