I lived in Japan for 2 years while serving in the Navy, and have been back many times. I absolutely love Japan and recommend it to anyone! It still remains and will always be in my top 3 travel destinations!

well i am not actually in shizuoka but all the maps are in japanese and i don't know that crazy stuff so i am like an hour south in Haibara cho. green tea farms everywhere. right on the beach pretty cool just cruising around on yuki's motorcycle and having a good time.

Exhausting! Woke up at 7am...Started hiking Fuji at 10pm and made it to the top for the sunrise at 4:45am...Then finally got back to the bus at 2pm and passed out!...But every minute was worth it!

Climbing Mt. Fuji

I climbed Mt. Fuji this weekend!  It wasn't mountain climbing like I thought it would be though.  More of a long uphill hike.  It was really windy at the top, too, and cold, but the sunrise was pretty.

Of the many trips I've made to Japan, never once did I set foot outside of Tokyo. So naturally when I felt like venturing out, the ancient capital of Japan is my number one choice with all the histories and antiquities whispering my name to visit. I have never walked so much in my life, but that rewards me plenty with perhaps details people usually miss.
