Shiraz is a main destination for both national and international tourists due to its numerous attractions. Shiraz is located at south of Iran, and there is about one hour flight from Tehran.
The main attraction for international tourists is the Persepolis, an ancient heritage backs to 2,500 years ago. Persepolis was the capital of Persian in Hakhamaneshi era, which was ruined by Alexander the Great. However, the remains of this historical city is still available for visitors. There are numerous attractions in Shiraz, comparable to Isfahan. The tombs of two famous Iranian poets namely Hafez and Sadi are among them. The nature of Shiraz is of particular interest, as it is known as the city of gardens. The best time to enjoy this feature is during April - June.

Tehran, Iran -› Shiraz, Iran -› ...
After spending time in Tehran, I visited Shiraz for a few days during which time I saw the ancient ruins at Persepolis. I then relaxed in the wonderful atmosphere of Esfahan.

Tehran, Iran -› Bandar e-Abbas, Iran -› ...
Iran was the thrill of my 2004 summer vacations. All places I visited and people I met will stay in my mind for a long time. This country very rich in cultural history lacks of tourism as it is wonderful to explore and get astonished by its wonderful landscapes and historical sites.
I flew to Tehran from Tashkent, Uzbekistan on the same day some suicide attacks were held in the city. Expecting the unexpected was always present in my mind.
