Since we are tired and hungry after our trip to Garni and Geghard Monasteries, and don’t want too much hassle to look for the restaurant in this new city, we decided to have lunch at our hotel restaurant and the restaurant itself look very nice and we hope the food will match the outlook of this restaurant.
The waiter is friendly and attentive and we can choose our seat, unfortunately no view from this restaurant as the front of the restaurant is facing the hotel car park. Anyway, the waiter tries their best to help us decide which food as we keep having the same problems in this caucus country, even the menu is in English language, we still don’t understand it and we don’t even know what kind of meat it is and how they cook it or what come with it.
I tried the Armenian Pear fizzy drink and taste was really sweet (too sweet to my liking) and I have chicken and lamb kebab. In addition to this, we also have Khashlama (lamb cook with tomatoes and herb) and also rice. Taste was good and the price is reasonable, we could say it is cheap compare with western country. We enjoy our lunch in this restaurant and would recommend it.
