Sherief Hotel - Reviews - Luxor

This was one of the best hostels that I have ever stayed in. It is not luxury accomodations, but the place was funa dn funky with great people running the joint. They have us a ton of useful information and did not try to sell us anything, which is practically unheard of in Egypt. There is a heavy duty Bob Marley theme to the place and a lovely roof top area where they will let those of the tiny budget sleep for almost nothing and you cand sit around and talk late into the night while drinking hibiscus tea. Good breakfast, lots of extras (food and drinks for nothing), and just generally a good palce to stay. Definately great for backpackers young and old (there was an 87 year old from Australia staying there who calls himself the worlds oldest backpacker). All of this for what ended up being under $3 a day (aircon, shared bathroom).
