We pulled into Sheridan after another 165 miles from Devil’s Tower, which is about three hours.  Not a whole lot to see across the vastness of the plains.  We made good time for a near 300 miles day.  It’s still mid afternoon, so we take care of getting an oil change in my car.    Dinner was at a Perkins Restaurant and Bakery. I took a month off from work in Boston and decided to drive to Los Angeles on a whim. Not one hotel room, and only four proper showers all month!

Stopped at Motel 6 just off the freeway last night.Walked in and the young guy at the front desk said he had a deal for me.Started at $30.00 higher than the diectory.Whooa.
