Sheraton Hotel City Centre Indianapolis
Sheraton Hotel City Centre Indianapolis Reviews
Aug 12, 2007
Stayed here for a night on a quick business trip up to Indianapolis. The hotel has recently been converted from a Radisson to a Sheraton property with some major renovations completed and additional ones on-going (re-opened as a Sheraton just a few weeks prior to my stay on 7/31/2007). And in my opinion the renovations are desperately needed.
In my room alone, the network access was not working, the AC unit was not working real well (either freezing cold or nothing), and an old door that did not close and lock automatically unless you gave it a good tug. That said the room did have the Sheraton Sweet Sleeper bed, so I was able to get a decent night sleep, well covered by the blankets and comforter though. Service was also slightly below standard to what I have seen at other Sheraton properties. On the plus size is a rooftop pool on the 9th floor of the hotel, a nice bar and restaurant on site, and convenient access to downtown Indianapolis locations. So in summary this hotel is OK, but does not currently meet the standards I have seen set at other Sheraton properties. That said as they work through transition issues for the new property I have no doubt that they will probably work through these issues and if I stay here again that this rating might rise. But currently the rating is what it is. |
