![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Excellent location for shopping, sightseeing, nature, EVERYTHING! Nov 25, 2008
The Boston Sheraton is an excellent location as it is centrally located to so many attractions in Boston.
For those that love to shop, the Sheraton is conveniently connected to the Prudential Center and the Copley Place Mall, both housing many famous high end shops. And just one block from the hotel is Newbury Street where you will find some of the best shopping in Boston from chic boutiques to top designer collections. The Boston Common, Gardens and Frog Pond are located less than a half mile from the Sheraton along a very pleasant walk. Other attractions found within a mile from the hotel include the Duck Tours, the Museum of Fine Arts, the Boston Pops, Fenway Park, and the Christian Science Center. Most other main Boston attractions are located within three miles from the Sheraton including Quincy Market and Faneuil Hall, the North End, Downtown, the Theater District, and Boston Harbor. The hotel room was very nice and clean with pretty views of Boston. Although we didn't use any, the Sheraton offers some amenities including a huge pool with a retractable roof and fitness center. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Sheraton near the Back Bay area of Boston Aug 19, 2008
So I think it depends on the cleaning lady you have when you stay here because my room was really clean but one of the other ladies in my group she complained about hairs on her shower wall that weren't hers.
The bed was truly amazing... I like it when hotels use comforters rather than quilts... so I slept really well each night I was there! The views were nice in the hotel and the elevator was lightning fast! Every staff member I came into was extremely nice (heck they even through a birthday party for me... read my blog if you want to know more) Ha Ha Ha! I did give amenities a lower score just because the one time I need a fridge in the room (I bought chocolate covered pickles as a joke from Pittsburgh for a manager from Minnesota and they needed to be refrigerated) and there wasn't one... sigh.... The food in the restaurant was delicious... but it was sort of expensive! You are 2 blocks from Newbury Street for all your shopping needs, 5 blocks or so from Cheers (the one they got the inspiration from and looks like the one you know and love from the outside but the one that looks like it on the inside is a half hour train ride away). There is a subway stop near there... alot of good bars and little eateries across the street and close to Fenway Park. Part of the Conference party Style travel blog |
