I have visited Shannon, Ireland in both winter and summer. And all I can say is that it is beautiful all year around. It is a small quite area with great sites. The Airport is small but clean and well keep. The Pub and the duty-free shop have everything you could ever want, and if you do happen to pass by the pub, the try Beamish, it's great. If you get to travel around the area of Shannon you will notice that the roads, hills and open areas are always green and inviting. So if you every do stop by Shannon, whether by a short stop by plane or just passing through, enjoy the country side that the area has to offer.
