Shanghai and Bangkok

Hi all,Can't remember when I last wrote but I think it was when I was coming back to Bangkok. Can't seem to access my blog from here so can't check. In any case, I thought it was time I updated this thing! The journey back to Bangkok was pretty uneventful, apart from we spent a lot of time in the disco… China at last

…out day but decided to move that one to thailand, even though i almost got a heart attack when i researched what a nice hostel in bangkok costs... more than here! i seriously consider joining the 18-20 drink&shag crowd at khao san road in a uberdodgy 'the beach' like guesthouse for 2usd/night and living it up, leonardo di caprio style! yes, i am excited about going to se asia… after dark...

  We wanted to find a cheap flight from here to either vietnam or bangkok but were unsuccesful in finding anything good.  So we left the internet place, checked with a travel agent and didnt find any good fares that way either.  In the end we decided we would take a train to Hong Kong and then… rainy day in shanghai

i won't pay 50 yuan for a beer, especially if bangkok is coming soon (where you pay for cheaper beer with gender uncertainty of your beer partners hehe) anyway, shanghai is far away from hong kong nice, but still worthy of some pics. it was a bit misty tonight so i didn't walk down… after dark...

i am waiting for conformation of my hostel in bangkok - not khao san road, but a downtown backpacker fav called suk 11... we'll see. they got thai massages for 250 baht hehe now i gotta hurry up - shanghai museum will probably be killed of my todo list and replaced by some serious shopping… marco went shopping today
