Shan Hu Lake
Shan Hu Lake Guilin Reviews
Sun and Moon Pagodas ! Aug 06, 2010
It's a little bit complicate it because have many different name ! Some peoples say them just Pagodas other Rong Hu and Shan Hu Lakes / Sun and Moon Pagodas and many as a Fir lake :)
All of them are right but I prefer to say them just Shan Hu lake because if you ask a local person knows it a Shan Hu :)
The Sun and Moon Pagodas I believe is the highlight of the Guilin . Are so beautiful and amazing , from outside and inside .
The park also is very beautiful with many trees and nice points for a view and of course to walk just for relax. When you finish your park round you are ready to get in the Pagodas :)
The entrance value is fair if I remember well something like 4-5 euro for a ticket to both of them .
The 9-storied Sun Tower is 41 meters high, made of solid bronze, while the 7-storied Moon Tower is 35 meters high, made of wood and glazed tiles.
First you visit the Moon pagoda and then joint each other with an undersea tunnel !
Many Buddhist items inside with small temples .
The panoramic view from to top is amazing .
I recommended as the top one highlight of Guilin !
And as always say "One photo thousand of words"
