Stratford upon Avon walkaround. Oct 17, 2017
We stopped off in Stratford on our way up to Scotland for stretching the legs and a bite to eat. Not far from the motorway and I'd never been there.Of course well known as being Shakespeare's birthplace, it does have a charm about it, but teeming with tourists. As I needed to change some € and also change some old £5 banknotes we had a decent walk around, from the Avon up to the Puck the jester statue and back and a side trip to the Guild Chapel and around the houseboats moored in a cut by the Avon river.
