Shady Dell RV Park Bisbee Reviews

If you're ever traveling through this part of Arizona, stop by and give this place a visit. I had heard about a few years ago, and figured we'd give it a shot since we were already in the region.
The idea is instead of checking into another hotel, where you get just a room. In the Shady Dell, you get a choice of your very own RV all to yourself. We chose the 1954 Crown. Being only 12 feet long, we were amazed at the amount of space once inside. The bed was a little snug. But the rest was great. The decor was vintage as advertised, right down to the radio and the tapes that came with it. We spent the night enjoying the cool evening, while listening to 50's sci-fi and songs. Very relaxing. The Crown was so nice, that Maureen insisted we get one of our own once back in Florida.
The rest of the area is pretty small. But you'll enjoy walking around looking at all the other vintage RVs. The RVs don't have their own baths and showers. But the bath/shower area was well stocked and emtremely clean to my surprise.
If you're hunger, there is Dot's Diner which is right next door. We didn't get a chance to enjoy it because we arrived so late in the day. But the review that I read in "Gourmet" was pretty good. Great burgers, pies, and shakes at supper cheap prices.
All in all, for $38 a night it was pretty great.
