Whistle-stop tour of Seville.

Saturday October 27 2007 When I moved to Seville 20 years ago, I was determined to play hard to get. Spain's most romantic city would not seduce me easily, I vowed. But within days the proverbial scent of jasmine and orange blossom had turned my head. The beauty, vitality and quick-wittedness of the people made me understand why Seville had been the birthplace of both Carmen and Don Juan. And whenever I crossed the Guadalquivir river, with its bewitching views towards the Moorish bell tower...

When I got off the plane, I was irritable, tired and cranky. But that soon all changed with a couple of hours in this city. Granted, the birds seemed to enjoy using me as a pooping target, but maybe that was a good luck charm because I had the most fantastic time here and completely fell in love with the place. The weather was just gorgeous, and I remember breathing a sigh of relief as I got outside and felt the heat hit me, made me think how much I missed warm weather! The sun set very late...

A chronicle of the 3-4 months I spent travelling around Western Europe over the summer of 2004. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed the experience of it.

On October 2007, my two friends and I traveled to Paris, France. This was my second trip to Paris. During my first visit I told my self I would return to the "City of Lights." I did not expect to return so soon. A trip that will be remembered with the infamous 1-7 photos, Ouzo night, the transportation strike and the Pompideaux-do. A week Spring Break in Southern Spain, Portugal, and Gibralter

a short trip to seville, cordoba and granada-spain.. it was fantastic.. alhambra is the most exciting place I have ever seen..

Having heard so much about the Spanish coast I thought a summer tour would be an interesting trip. Unfortunately, being Australian, I've been spoiled in the way of beaches. Spain is an exotic land with a lot to offer... but not in the way of beaches! We toured the east coast from Benidorm, Malaga, Granada, Valencia and up to Barcelona, San Sebastion and Bilbao. Had a heap of fun, great food, but dont recall meeting a single local person....

From Madrid to Toledo to Granada. Then to Tarifa with a brief skip over to Tangiers. Lagos Portugal for a couple of days, then to Sevilla, Cordoba and then back to Madrid.
