Setz-Restaurant & Bar New Delhi Reviews
Classy Bar Nov 26, 2010
This place is on top of a mall with lots of branded stores that is good place for fashionable ladies who likes luxury branded item :).
I actually didnt have to pay for anything and we only had drinks in the bar but based on the quoted price of Rs1000 and up for a meal for 2 pax, it sounds relatively expensive for India standard. It's ok for Philippine spending but India seemed relatively cheaper...but because of the fab toilet, it's good value for money to be visited :P
I had a bacardi cocktail and some nuts while checking out the place. There are people coming in and out in nice clothes so this seem to be really classy place to go to. I read about a person complaining that this place is quite snobbish and they were turned away after being scrutinized based on what they were wearing. We were pleasantly received and we're even invited to go inside the restaurant but we're not in the mood to dine so we just stayed in the bar.
Before we left, I had to go to the bathroom and was pleasantly surprised on their fab bathroom. The fab experience started once I enter the cubicle where the toilet seat automatically opens. Then once you sat down, you will feel the seat warm and warming up some more so it makes you feel more comfortable compared to that cold sensation of sitting on a typical cold toilet seat :P
One seated, you will immediately notice some techie buttons which gives you numerous service options :P There is a button to wash your rear or front...and how you want it washed. You could position the flow of water without moving your butt :P Then the flow could also be controlled to harder or moderate and if you also like it pulsating, etc :P
After the refreshing wash, you could have it air dry by pressing a button...
Really cool experience! :P
After that, we left the bar and went down to parking. We saw a man with a tray of colorful stuff before going out of the door. I was told it's Indian breath freshener and was asked to try :)
The man wrapped some of the stuff inside a leaf and handed it to me. I took a bite and it was a combination of tastes thats quite unfamiliar except for the mint. I hold on to the remaining piece as I enter the car and off to the next destination...
