Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge

If you have read my blogs on East Africa, you probably know that I have stayed in many safari lodges in East Africa, while I love Sopa I must admit Serena Safari Lodge in Serengeti beats Sopa Ngorongoro by far. What I particularly like is the authentic African style to the individual huts that make the lodge rooms. The lodge is on a hill and the views are beautiful, from the deck on the evening and morning you can see the sun rise or set.

The leopard print bedspreads give the African touch! And in the evening the garden lights come on and give the atmosphere a cozy feeling. On clear nights every now and then you see the stars if you go out side. This is a perfect place for a honeymoon. If I re-marry I would like to go there for my honeymoon.

The BIG FIVE live in the Serengeti, you will along the way or while staying at the Serena be able to see all of them including on Safari – the leopard needs patience though. For the adventurer this is a great place to rest after an adventurous day of game viewing.
