We All Scream for Ice Cream! Oct 04, 2010
Serendipity is an awesome ice cream shop in Webster Groves (St. Louis), Missouri. They serve a variety of homemade flavors, over two dozen to choose from on any given day. Flavors such as bordeaux cherry, banana, cookies and cream, salted caramel, mint chocolate chip, chocolate peanut butter and strawberry. I got golf-ball size scoops of cookie monster, gold coast chocolate and coconut. They were each delicious in their own way. The cookie monster had chunks of chocolate chip and Oreo cookies in it; the gold coast chocolate is a deep, rich dark chocolate and the coconut had bits of toasted coconut in it. All of them were nice and creamy, the way ice cream should be. Three sizes of scoops are available: tiny (the golf ball size), small, and regular (which was about the size of my three scoops).
Serendipity is located on Big Bend Boulevard. From I-64, go south two and a half or three miles. It's located on the west size of the road in the middle of several store fronts.
