Not much to say about today. Feeling below par again and only managed 6 hours sleep.Went to see Sveti Sava, the biggest orthodox church in the world supposedly. Then went to the island of Ada Ciganlija in the Sava River, which wasn't really the wonderful park land and beach area the guide books said it would be.Had some more traditional serbian food, pljeskanica, which is like a big hamburger but much more tasty. I live in London, I love the city more and more though being unemployed is rough. Let's just make this a general trendy life stylish blog with a note about as many borough and neighbourhood that I will manage to set foot in. The blog won't follow a chronological order, so I will talk about the boroughs and then had my specific thoughts in between.

From Venice to Sofia, a one week trip to the Balkans

  So, where did i leave off??? Oh yeah... We were just leaving Olympos, such a beautiful place, and heading to Fethiye... Fethiye has these beautiful beaches, the Blue Lagoon is supposed to be amazing, postcard sorta stuff. So, we only had one full day there, and it was absolutely pelting down with rain the entire time. I do not usually blog this much, but I thought it might be fun to keep an account of my trip to Kosovo. There maybe some pretty boring things in this blog, please forgive me, but I hope you will enjoy reading about my trip to Kosovo. I think a lot happens when you travel internationally 30% of your time for work.

I decided to go somewhere that had not had the tourist boom and Belgrade it was. Nice people and I felt safe even though I was there after the arrest of Karadic. There are a few souvenir stalls mainly near the Kalemegdan Citadel which is an ancient fortress site overlooking the meeting of the Saba and Danube rivers. Worth a look for sure. For eats the Russian Tsar restaurant is amazing, costly but well worth it. Goand see the House of Flowers where Tito is buried and the stadiums of Red Star ...

Sarajevo To Belgrade: Just passed into Serbia & Montenegro, this has been another long busride!The day started off with an early rise to make the bus. The hostelarranged a ride out to the bus station for the five of us.
