For 25 bucks, you get a lot for your money here - a ride from the ferry terminal, a bed in an all-girl´s dorm, pie with ice cream and personal service. The later is what made this backpackers, as the lady rang up all the kakaying companies to book a trip for me, gave me loads of advice and generally made me feel very welcome. I will definitely stay again.

Sequoia Lodge Backpackers Information and Description

Newly renovated, warm, friendly family owned hostel. Roaring log fires and free hot chocolate pudding & ice cream every evening of the year plus FREE BREAKFAST (inc freshly baked bread) during winter months (starts May 1st). Something different - circular cedar SPA POOL - FREE for guests On rainy days you can chill out in a movie theatre room which has SKY TV featuring lastest sport & movies and on sunnier days there are hammocks and lots of outdoor areas to laze in.
