In a perfect world with no flight cancellations or delays, and where someone could hop from plane to plane within 15 minutes, how many countries can a person visit in the shortest possible time? Here's one possibility using July 2006 timetables.

Yay for holidays! Seollal, or the Lunar New Year, fell on Thursday the 7th this year so we got a five day weekend! The problem with holidays in Korea is that there's always a mass exodus of people travelling to see their families. Thankfully, we planned our trip so that we'd be hea…

I was home for 2 ½ days and then back at O’Hare airport.
Another long flight was ahead of me, but I was glad. I was really tired and
cranky from running around and looked forward to a long sleep on the plane. Tim
dropped my off and a couple hours later I boarded Asi…

South Korea in the autumm is colorful and inspiring for the soul, especially admiring the mountains, gardens, temples and palaces. The capital city Seoul seems to be proud of its achivements, good transportation network, tall buildings and interesting attractions. However, the most memorable moments are the peaceful buddhist temples, the National Parks, spicy food (kimchi) and historical monuments in Chengju. A must visit destination in Asia.

We had a nice treat awaiting us in Asia. One of our classmates from Michigan said he
was unable to pick us up from the airport as originally planned, but instead
had arranged for a night at a fiver star hotel which he apparently had a coupon
to get for free. As Ana and I walked in

7 hours layover in Seoul is the worst amount of time to have. It's like, you can either spend 5-6 hours in a duty free shop (lame), or spend 3 hours on a bus just to spend 1 hour in town and be back in time to clear customs (also lame). Incheon also has some convenient "airport tours"&nbs…

My day out alone as Amanda has prior appointment. So I'm off to mission impossible. Surely will get more stares from the folks as I will be roaming on my own. But I have no fear. Can't remember how many thousand steps I took today but it was so worth it.
Will pen more later.

We landed at the airport and collected our luggage. The airport is
quite something (as airports go) with a cacti garden and incredible
modern architecture that made you feel like you’d been transported 100
years into the future. It was also very quiet and with hardly anyone
around.
We hopped…

Last weekend Makeeya called me and requested my company at a tennis match near her dong in Olympic Park. How could I decline such a noble invitation? I brought my sunscreen, shades, and water and hopped on the metro for a 65 minute ride from my dong to Olympic Park.
We ate breakfast there. Makeeya…
