My last supper.
Mike and I had had this unhealthy desire to eat dog since we first came to Korea 2 years ago and neither of us had accomplished this feat as yet.
Our histories.. Mike loves dogs, his family breeds them as something of a hobby. I basically hate dogs. When I was about 14 I was atta…

Going to the DMZ between North and South Korea was one of the strangest, surreal experiences I’ve had in recent memory. All the posturing between the two countries is to a point that is almost hilarious. A few cases in point. First, the South Koreans built a friendship building …

This past weekend was spent out in Hongdae and Sinchon. Where two G.I.'s picked us up and danced the night away with us. They were funny and smart and we spent the whole weekend with them. I thought I found someone who could possibly be on the same level with me as far as what I want out of my last…

I'm on my third day in Seoul and having a lovely time. My only regret is I didn't schedule more time for Korea so haven't had the opportunity to explore the country outside of Seoul, which according to people I've met is quite a shame.
Several things I like about Seoul:

This one was
Changdeokgung, built from 1405-1412 by the Joeson kings. It is an enormous
palace complex, with multiple buildings…
