In seoul, the most convient trasport way is 'Subway'.

You can easily reach wherever you want to go and you can meet your friend on time. Seoul metro is very clean except line No1 and 2 are a little older then other new line. but generally most of seoul metro is very confortable for visitors. Expecially, every station you can catch an english information.

One way fare is 1.2 US dollar. If you want you can buy regualr tiecket for 1 month and its fare would be 40$.

When you use credit seoul public trasportation card then your one way fare would be 1.1$ and you can also get extra discount for transfer to bus in seoul.

Metro transit fare is set at distance scale rates by unifying all the metropolitan subway sections

(based on the shortest traveling distance)

In subway, you can not bring any metalic baloon or big size bicycle something like that. But there are no serious or annoyed law for their passenger.

And many large size subway station, you can find nice and cool culture event such like dance performance, music, art exhibition etc.

This is seoul metro official website; (They have snglish service)
