Variety abounds amongst November’s events and performances, with some world-class shows to tempt and entertain you. An adaptation of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s new production, “The Beautiful Game”, opens in Seoul, the world-renowned “Choeur de l`Orchestre de Paris” comes to Seoul for one night of high culture and the superb Dialogue in the Dark experience will continue to amaze until the end of December.
Seoul International Music Competition The 3rd Seoul International Music Competition commences from 28th Novebmer to 7th December at Seoul Arts Center. The competition is organized by Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Dong-A Ilbo and is sponsored by LG.. The category for this year’s competition is voice and 139 applicants from 30 countries have applied for the competition. A total of 49 applicants (26 from Korea and 23 from overseas) have passed the preliminary round and are invited to compete in Korea. The jury members of the competition include Philip Kang (professor at the Seoul National University), Cheryl Studer (USA), Tom Krause (Finland), Jane Berbié (France), Giuseppe Giacomini (Italy), Siegfired Jerusalem (Germany), and Eugenia Anvelt (Russia).
