Sentrum Pensjonat
Sentrum Pensjonat Reviews
Typical Hostel Nov 22, 2008
The reason I am giving this hostel a bad rating is because the room we stayed in has some kind of pest. I am guessing it is bed bugs because I have had experience with them before. I woke up on the second day of staying in the room with bites all over my body. Now that I am back home, I have experienced more bites, which means this pest has traveled from the Sentrum Pensjonat to my home. (Since I had no pest problems before this trip, I am sure they did not come from my home originally.)
Other than this warning, the location is great. The value is good. Since it is right in the city, noise may be a problem if you can't sleep with traffic and travelers' noises. There is a cute little restaurant attached. I guess it's a good hostel if you don't mind a pest infestation. |

OK Hostel in Oslo since there is not much to choose from Jul 01, 2008
This place is quite nice, but feels more like a hotel than a hostel. There are no bunk beds, large rooms, and huge communal showers :) There is a reception area downstairs, but no real common area, one internet location that is very expensive, so if you are traveling alone this wouldn’t be a good place to meet people. It is very close to Karl Johans Gate, one of the main shopping/restaurant/bar streets in Oslo. But be warned, there are A LOT of prostitutes in downtown Oslo, but they don’t’ bother you… I chose this place because really there isn’t that many options in Oslo for cheap logging, it is okay if you don’t expect much besides a clean bed to sleep in.

Did I mention that EZ OK had the strangest meals? I'm vaguely remembering some sort of nameless meat and cabbage, but it wasn't quite that bad. Not mention it was a two hour flight and you absolutely do not get a meal on a US domestic fl…… Last call for EZ OK from Praha to Oslo |
