SentidoNeptune Villge beach resort Diani Reviews
Sentido Neptune Village Feb 09, 2011
Sentido Neptune Village is a great resort.
3 places (vilage, paradise en palm) are situated on the resort.
We stayed in Village, but there was no problem using the amenities of Paradies and Palm.
Situated at the beach we had a lovely view!
The park has bungalows witch can fit 4 different couples/families. We had an donwstairs room with a bed and a bathroom. The room also had a tv, arconditioning and fridge.
The bed's were comfy and the room was cleaned everyday. The bathroom was a bit old looking and small. But it fitted it's purpose so no complains there. You could get clean towels everyday and if you wanted that you could put them in a box so you woud get celan ones. But if yuu don't need clean towels everyday you could just hang them on a rack and they wouldn't get cleaned. This idea is part of a cleaner-planet program :).
The food was in a buffet. So breackfast lunch and diner you could pick out everything you want. There is a hughe varity of food. And even vegeterians, like myself, wouldn't have a problem finding a meal.
The animation team is working round the clock to keep us occupied. Beackvolly, watercolly, crazygame are just some of the stuff we did. Everynight there would be a band, dancegroup or other funstuff to do.
Besides that we also went on excursions (not All inclusive!) with the entertainment crew! Great way to see Africa.
The resort also had a small shop. you could buy basics things. Souvenirs, sun-lotion, candy, postcards, pensils, some toys for the kids etc.
The people at the reception were verey helpfull. Besides that you could order a wake up call and when waking up early for an excursion they made sure there was a breakfast buffet.
Opposite of the reception you could change your money into Kenya Shilling. Dollars, Euro's or UK pounds, no problem. At the end of your stay you can also change the Kenya Shilling back into Dollars, Euro's of UK pounds.
The park had monkey's everywhere. They are very friendly though they stole our cookies twice! In the restaurant are also a couple of cat's who are also friendly.
Not allowed to fed any of the animals, did ofcourse did happen.
It was our first time being on an resort and being All Inclusive. We really liked it and didn't have the feeling of being on a resort. Defenitly recommandet!
