Typical tourist trap May 21, 2010
The food itself tasted okay, but they didn't offer any local fish or beer which I thought to be an insult to the natives. The only good thing about Senior Frogs is that it lured all the tourists (mostly from the cruises) to one location for what seemed to be the best location for night life any day of the week.

Lets get loud! Sep 29, 2009
Loved this noisy and fun place in downtown Nassau. If you are looking for fine dining in a quiet atmosphere ... don't go here! However if you want to have some fun, drink crazy drinks out of crazy glasses, and get some reasonable food at reasonable prices ... go to Senor Frogs. This seemed to be the place for bachelorette parties coming off the cruise ships. The music is loud, there was a congo line going with a waitress pouring shots down peoples mouth when we got there. There was Karaoke at times, name this tune at other times, non stop fun at all times. Great views of the water too.

Do the conga line! Jul 16, 2008
This was my second time at Señor Frog's in Nassau. This place is a lot of fun for everyone. There was a clown making balloon animals and hats, the MC held dance competitions on the bar, and there is a conga line complete with mouthful of Bahama Mama at the end.

We were a large group (9) and initially order appetizers then our meals. The appetizers would have been enough. There is so much food, but there is so much going on that you forget how hungry you were once you get there.

There is a gift shop on the premises and you can buy all sorts of Señor Frog's souvenirs. If you order your drink by the “Yard” you get a souvenir cup to take home. I did this the last time I went. I was in college and ambitious then.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our waitress was very patient with our large group. She even called our cab guy to come pick us up. Side note: All the cabbies will give you business cards and tell them to call when you need them. Our guy didn’t even have us pay on the way to the restaurant. He said we could pay the roundtrip fare on the way home that night. CRAZY!

At 10 pm there are no children allowed as the restaurant turns into a more bar-like atmosphere. Prior to that Señor Frog’s is a great place for the whole family. Hang out, eat good food, watch the ships come into port, and drink some Frog Legs!

P.S. - If this place seems familiar to you, "Carlos and Charlie’s" is owned by the same company as Señor Frog’s.

Great review! I've only been to the Señor Frog’s in Cozumel, Mexico, but you described the chain perfectly :-D

We went for drinks and appetizers later in the evening before the ship sailed out of port. The atmosphere was perfect. The resteraunt sits right on the water overlooking the port and open ocean. The open air veranda was a perfect place to sit and watch the sunset, as well as see the lights from the port.

We initially ordered chips and salsa and they told us they were out of chips. The waiter came back 20 minutes later and said they had some now to serve. Other than that, the food and drinks were good and a good value. The party type atmosphere was fun and relaxing.
