Sennariolo, characterised by centuries-old olive groves is the smallest of the towns in the mountain commune of Montiferru and is an ideal location for those who love the sea, the countryside and mountain scenery. Its reputation is largely linked with the olive cultivation and with the production of a much valued cheese. Of historical interest is the ‘rocky’ church of Santa Vittoria, situated a few kilometres from the centre of the town in a most beautiful panoramic situation. In the countryside around Sennariolo it is possible, with a little luck, to see hares and Sardinian partridge together with numerous running water courses rich in trout and eel, thanks to a continuous restocking programme carried out in recent years.
