Stairway to heaven! Jan 15, 2016
It's a real meeting point not only for the residents of Helsinki. It is above all one of the main landmarks for all tourists.

At the Senate Square is main building of the University of Helsinki and the Government Palace. The most recognizable building, however, is a characteristic the Lutheran cathedral, which was designed by Carl Ludwig Engel in the years 1820-1850. Cathedral lead to a great, high staircase on which you can sit back and admire the panorama of the square and surrounding streets.

Many people spend time on them, leading chat, or simply resting. It's absolutely beautiful and a fantastic place!

Another highlight at the Senate Square is a monument of Tsar Alexander II - a meeting place for many people

It MUST SEE in Helsinki!
