Sen Monorom has only until recently been marketed to tourists as a tourist destination.
If one was to seek out true authentic Asian hilltribes, Sen Monorom is the place to go. However only time will change this fact as the more tourists load on the buses and head here, the more commercialised it will get and it will pretty much be the next Chiang Mai.
Sen Monorom houses remote hill tribes, lush green rain forests for treks and hikes, beautiful waterfalls and of course the tourist favourite and elephant hike!
